Oh well, I'll do it. For some reason or the other, Commander Pancake has gone mad and plans to take over the land of Dmzx with his diabolical cohorts, Syrup Lad and Asiekierka. Definitely not the best plot, but this game aims more for the gameplay and humor; you travel to Pancake's fortress via car, but it often breaks down as there is debris strewn about the roads. If it breaks down, you have to go through a sidescrolling level to get a repair kit. In these levels, there are coins which can be spent in the Upgrade Huts to buy things such as jetpacks, and on Dr. Guy, who has meds to bring up your HP. Each level has a different theme and a gimmick: among these are disappearing walls, boiling syrup, and rooms that get hotter as you go on.

CJA and I worked hard on this, and it paid off; this is definitely the highlight of the Band! series, at least until Band! 4 comes out. If you haven't played it, give it a whirl; you'll probably want to play it from beginning to end!
