Recently I've gotten into the ZZT file format for the fun of it and decided to see just how difficult it would be to convert for a ZZT file to MZX. Well, there are a few big discrepencies with the boards alone, not including the ZZT-OOP to robotic that is also required to make this work.

SO, I decided to give this little util a try to see how effective it really is with its zzt2mzx conversion and must say that it hasn't disapointed me yet. All you have to do is open up the command prompt, type in the line to convert you favorite ZZT game to MZX and your ready to play you ZZT games in MZX.

The Author did mention there are a few incompatibilities with ZZT-OOP to Robotic, but I haven't ran into one of those problems yet, and I've converted a fair amount of games so far. I reccomend this util to anyone who is intrested in converting ZZT games to MZX.

I tried to use this to convert my ZZT files, but it didn't work......at all. It could just be me, the ZZT-OOP/Robotic inccababilities, or the version of Megazeux I was using. But I didn't find this useful.

Pretty useful for those ZZT lovers like myself. I found this utility to be quite useful during a period of time when ZZT wasn't working on one of my OS's.

It happily does everything I could ask for, plus centipedes. I really didn't expect the centipedes.

Its quite the utility to use if you want to play zzt games such as Code Red or Town of ZZT in MZX.

Just dont bother using it on the ZZT game Banana Quest. Why? Because WiL just HAD to modify the ZZT source coding! As a result, Banana Quest is uniquely coded and thus, this utility will not work on it.

This converter works, and even brings Centipedes back! (Problem is, they don't work in other games properly) Just remember to set your MZX speed to 7!
