The idea is to go through some very bland looking worlds and shoot stuff while trying to reach the end of the stage. The graphics are very bland and simply basic stuff you see in most older games. The enemies are all the same and aren't really interesting at all. The factory level with its randomly appearing explosions is cruel.

The music is okay though but a lot of the time the music doesn't suit the area at all. Also don't play the first level song in front of your parents. In contains naughty words which your parents might not like.

Overall this game is terrible. Avoid it.

This game has an interesting concept but actually playing it is an exercise in frustration. The goal is to fight your way through various arenas, fighting randomly generated enemies and collecting money to buy upgrades. Unfortunately it falls short of being fun for a few reasons:

* Pistol — You start the game with this gun. It shoots so slow, you feel lonely (you have no confidence in this gun).
* The enemies can't be shot at point blank due to the weapon robot giving up when the player is blocked in the direction being shot in (tip: send "playershot" to that location at the very least...).
* The enemies are constantly moving randomly and also canceling your shots with their own bullets, meaning most of your bullets are wasted.
* Ammo is too limited to fight a reasonable number of enemies under the above constraints.
* The number of enemies spawned is often not reasonable.

Play MZX Combat Trainer instead. It executes the same general idea better, with more enemy variety and adjustable spawn rates.

Update: somehow the music makes this game a lot more tolerable, or maybe I just got luckier enemy spawns replaying it this time. All things considered this game is pretty impressive for its time.
