For some reason, there's two versions of this game in the archive, SPL1.MZX and SPLD1.MZX. SPLD1.MZX is the more complete version and the one this review covers.
South Park Demo is a game based off the South Park show. You play as Kenny and your opponent is Cartman...
It's a newbie game with mostly built-in combat against simple robot enemies. It wouldn't be so bad except every single shot that hits an enemy will trigger a long speech sample. If you fire too much it'll loop until your speakers clip.
There's a few minigame segments, one of which I think is copied unmodified from an Inmate2993 game. There's also some platformer segments where the movement system breaks likely as a result of misuse of lockplayer/unlockplayer commands.
Graphics are just barebones. The ending looks significantly better than anything in the game. Limited as Megazeux's graphics are, a South Park aesthetic could be pulled off way better than it is here.
Not very good, but also not too broken to play to the end. It might have even gotten two stars if it looked slightly better and didn't have that speech sample issue.
